Anna Maria Island Kiwanis Club Welcomes A New Member

On Saturday, April 2, a new member, Gretchen Dorr, was welcomed into the Anna Maria Island Kiwanis Club.  Gretchen and her husband moved to Florida in 2012 from Minneapolis.  As a young person, she & her family visited an uncle that lived on Anna Maria; so that is how she became acquainted with the area.  Then over the years, she & her husband vacationed on the island with their daughter & son.  Now adults, her daughter lives in Wisconsin and her son lives in Chicago.  Gretchen is a retired RN and she & her husband have two grandchildren.  She has agreed to serve on the Scholarship Committee.
